23 Apr Vacancy: Account Manager, OnCue Communications

OnCue Communications – part of the Baize Group – is looking for an Account Manager to help across its PR business.

Working for a number of the world’s biggest car manufacturers, OnCue Comms offers its clients varied levels of support encompassing copywriting, event organisation, presentation planning, reports, photography and much more.

This role would suit an experienced journalist who may be looking for a new direction for their career, or an experienced account manager who may currently be working for another agency.

There is scope for this role to expand into a senior management position in the future or, for the right candidate, immediately, should the skill set, experience and ambition match our needs.

The successful candidate will work directly with our clients, dropping everything when they say jump answering with the only answer they want to hear: ‘How high?’

We pride ourselves on going above and beyond when it comes to our clients, helping them come up solutions to problems, and sending them ideas that’ll get them the attention they deserve for their products and services.

Applicants will preferably have journalist experience, better still, some PR experience too.

This is a full-time position, based in our offices in Gosport, and will include occasional travel as and when our clients require it.

You’ll be a great ideas person, a stickler for accuracy and a people person. Attention to detail, an ability to work on your own without direction, and the ability to spot an opportunity – for a story, for our client or for some new business – is crucial.

Please include:

  • A covering email that explains why you are right for this role giving examples of times you have met some of the needs laid out here
  • Tell us about your favourite PR stunt ever and why you loved it
  • What three cars you’d buy with a £50,000 budget?

Applications – by May 10 – should be made via email to
